Women's softball comes back to win in a walk off, Men's baseball takes down LSU, Women's basketball just put up 100+ spot....and OU Softball loses and ATM baseball is still winless in conference play.

Women's Swimming and Diving took 3rd at NCAAs.

Beach Volleyball knocked off #2 and #11.

I'm loving the Aggy meltdown from #1 to winless starting the conference! I don't pay much that much attention to them besides laughing at their failures, but what happened?

They made a really crappy hire it seems.

After Michael Early came to Texas with Schloss, A&M hired him back to be the head coach. Something he has never done before. This was successful at preventing a handful of their best players from transferring to Texas with Schloss or going pro.

I did think that would would have at least one more successful season, just because of the talent they had returning on the field. Jace Laviolette was thought to be the top collegiate player coming into this year. The talent hasn't produced on the field and it seems that Coach Early isn't helping things from a coaching standpoint.

Texas did poach a lot of talent from their recruiting classes and it seems another head coach change isn't far off, maybe even during this season. The decision. to hire Early seems to be one that will set back A&M baseball for a while.

Thanks BWilk55! It's amazing (and enjoyable) with all the talent, the wheels have fallen off so quickly. Would Early be a candidate for an assistant here later?

If you hire the right coach a turnaround could be quick. Look what Schlossnagle has done. Not sure they can lure one but they have before.

I don't have insight into that. I guess it depend on how smooth the break up was when he went back to A&M.

Maybe Schloss sent him back to A&M to sabotage their season and then he will hire him back on at Texas?

If he does end up here, that will be the narrative from a certain set of Texans. Even though no one would deliberately sabotage their own career.
