Per Matt Zenitz, Utah punter Jack Bouwmeester is visiting Texas today. Bouwmeester was an all-conference selection each of the last two years at Utah.

3 year punter, last two years has avg 45 yards per punt. With good abiity to drop them inside the 20.

Kern has averaged 40 yards

Not so fast on Sydir Mitchell. Hopefully he figures it out and realizes his potential. Seems like we have had lots of DTs that didn't contribute much until there final year. Alfred Collins is this year's example.

As long as the portal doesn't close before we're done. We could potentially play through Jan. 20. I'm not sure when the portal closes.

If it closes for everyone who didn't lose a coach, that puts guys who know they need to go elsewhere to flourish between a rock and a hard place. Choose between a possible NC ring or leave the team to be able to start the semester at a new school and be eligible for spring practice.
