What do they need?

I say they need 2 quality DL and maybe 1 LB.

Do they kick the tires on Micah Hudson at WR. I know he picked TT last year, but I remember Texas/Sark really wanted him. Seems like a good kid, why he chose TT and that coach was a head scratcher.

I think they need a solid PK for next year.

Any others? Maybe a TE? I like the young talent they have, but can any of them step in for Helm?

1 or 2 interior DL. If available - a burner at WR. 1 Kicker. 1 Punter. We may need a corner for depth - as I think we are likely to lose one or two in the portal.

Nothing else unless we take significant losses in the portal ourselves, IMO.

Actually, I think the room might need a little trimming. Baxter, Wisner, Gibson, Stewart, Simon, Clark and possibly Blue make 7.

Baxter and Clark will able to go by fall camp, Wisner will be a Jr, Gibson will be a Soph and Stewart and Simon will likely RS. Blue is a wild card. I don't think he did enough to get drafted. His fumbles and blown blitz pickups knocked him down. He could portal. Baxter and Wisner are 1a and 1b.

I expect Blue to explore his draft status and will grade higher than his production due to his tools. If so, that leaves six unless someone looks for more opportunities elsewhere. Baxter, Wisner, and Gibson make a solid trio, with Clark given extra time to rehab and look for a niche role. With how Sark values special teams, there are always reps for RBs. I'd hate to trim and have something like this year. Just my two cents.

I am definitely hoping for a K... every time we line up for a FG, I consider it a gift it actually goes in. I guess I've been spoiled by the Dawson's, and Tucker's in our history.

I don't think Clark plays next year. Stewart and Simon are frosh. That leaves you right back to a rehabbed Baxter, Wisner and Gibson. Not sure what Blue wiill do.

Erxleben had a golden foot. I never could say which he was better at – FGs or punts.

Back then, aggy had a pretty good kicker as did Arkansas. But I thought Erxleben was the best.

Heard Jaray Bledsoe has entered the portal. DL is getting awfully thin. Really need to attack the portal and make sure Justice Terry has some of that Fasusi money to grab him.
