Agree. A&M playihg most any other opponent with Hendrix going 99 pitches with that kind of effort inning after inning, I'd not like to see him lose a game like that. He stranded what seemed like 1600 runners. Hats off to both Kent and Hendrix. Two of the better and more interesting pitchers I saw all weekend.Soooo glad Frogs won and will rep the Big12. That said, and it's hard for me to say this, just a ton of respect for Ryan Hendrix. One of the gutsiest performances I've ever seen.
What a shame. SMHHow unfortunate for the ags. Double error ends their chances for Omaha.
BDF?Whats funny is that 2 years in a row, aggy loses to a team from the BDF (as they call it) conference. Irony at its best!
TCU baseball > aggyBDF = Big Dumpster Fire. That's what aggy calls the Bix XII conference now that they're in the $ec. Just aggy being aggy
Correct. And thinking back to the inning where the same batter blasted a line drive right off the pitcher's chest, if the runner on 3rd bolts for home at the resounding crack of the bat, he likely scores. You can see on the replay him freezing up thinking the ball may be caught.BDF = Big Dumpster Fire. That's what aggy calls the Bix XII conference now that they're in the $ec. Just aggy being aggy
Back to the winning run last night. In reality, that was a horrible base running decision. I'm glad it worked but watch the 3rd base coach & he was trying to put the brakes on the runner. If the aggy catcher catches that ball, that kid would have received a talking to in the dugout.
or he could have fielded it cleanly and lobbed it to the catcher since the runner still had 80+ feet to go.if i were that 3rd baseman, i would have fired right at that base coach and hit him; that would be interference. i guess you don't think about that if you're an aggie.....
