How unfortunate for the ags.  Double error ends their chances for Omaha.

I feel this is an appropriate time to post this.

Soooo glad Frogs won and will rep the Big12. That said, and it's hard for me to say this, just a ton of respect for Ryan Hendrix. One of the gutsiest performances I've ever seen.
Agree. A&M playihg most any other opponent with Hendrix going 99 pitches with that kind of effort inning after inning, I'd not like to see him lose a game like that. He stranded what seemed like 1600 runners. Hats off to both Kent and Hendrix. Two of the better and more interesting pitchers I saw all weekend.

BDF = Big Dumpster Fire.  That's what aggy calls the Bix XII conference now that they're in the $ec. Just aggy being aggy

Back to the winning run last night. In reality, that was a horrible base running decision. I'm glad it worked but watch the 3rd base coach & he was trying to put the brakes on the runner. If the aggy catcher catches that ball, that kid would have received a talking to in the dugout.

TCU baseball > aggy

TCU football > aggy

TCU hoops = aggy

How is TCU not an upgrade for the Big12 again?

Correct. And thinking back to the inning where the same batter blasted a line drive right off the pitcher's chest, if the runner on 3rd bolts for home at the resounding crack of the bat, he likely scores. You can see on the replay him freezing up thinking the ball may be caught.

You can play it safe or you can go for it. Often you win or lose in each choice here and there.

What I like about a level of aggression is that it feeds into team momentum and an all-important instinct.

In all previous innings with runners on first, TCU bunted. This time they did not. Cody Jones took a regular at-bat, and got out. But the rest of the inning carried that attitude he displayed and ended up with the runner rounding third following his instincts and not stopping and thinking.

I thought for sure he was being thrown out, but that's what I like about the game. You never know when a ball is going to be bobbled, or a low-level flying line drive to home plate skipping past the catcher's mitt. I think he took his eyes off the ball as the runner was flying toward him.

I never watch big league ball, but will watch the CWS race to Omaha.

Omaha is set:

Division 1 (starts 6/13)

Arkansas vs Virginia

Florida vs Miami

Division 2 (starts 6/14)

LSU vs TCU

CS-Fullerton vs Vandy

if i were that 3rd baseman, i would have fired right at that base coach and hit him; that would be interference. i guess you don't think about that if you're an aggie.....
or he could have fielded it cleanly and lobbed it to the catcher since the runner still had 80+ feet to go.
