LOL, even though James Bond carried a PPK, I am personally not a fan of that little piece. I have one myself, but the damned thing has been to the shop many times as it is hard to keep running with hollow points loaded in the mag. But maybe I just have a lemon.Thanks for all the feedback. Based on looks, I really like the Walther PPK and Kimber Ultra Carry II. A bit pricy though.
I'm going to sound like a negative nancy, but I don't like the Ultra Carry II either. It is a beast to control and beats me to death at the range. My opinion is that most 1911 .45's should have a barrel length no shorter than 4".
If you are ok with the .380 caliber and a semi-automatic design, I highly recommend the Berreta 84F (sometimes called a Cheeta) model. It's been around for years and there is a reason for that - it's comfortable to shoot, the quality is excellent and fit's a womans hand beautifully. Furthermore, you can find them at very good prices as well.
