Who isnt acknowledging the OL woes? I am pretty sure EVERYONE agrees on this.I’m surprised that most in this group rarely acknowledge that success begins with both lines, both offensive and defensive. It’s usually women who overlook this critical aspect of the game. What gives?
I am going to guess we lost Cook after last night.
LSU lost too but atleast they scored more 24 total points in the last 3 games.
I bet our defense is growing tired of this inept offense and why shouldnt that hold true for potential defensive recruits as well.
Cook did say how Texas performed was part of his consideration. So I guess 0-4 is irrelevant. How many advantage points does the HC get for being able to be understood when speaking? Can the state bird of Louisiana defeat the state bird of Texas?
I don't think you think the same way recruits think. I've never heard of any recruit sitting down and counting points scored over the past 2-3 games.
I read a story by ESPN the other day. I can't believe an editor allowed it to get to print. Basically, the writer asserted that Texas would fall apart because of losing games so closely. What do you even do with that? Whats the alternative? Getting blown out game after game and this would hold the team together? I think the writer is on crack.
I'm not DMAC, but I happen to agree with him on this.DMAC, I think you are a pretty sharp guy who knows football. So, would you explain something to me, please?
Given that our offensive line is a shambles right now, that only Vahe and McMillan were original starters, and that Tristan and Cuney couldn’t even beat out freshmen, why criticize any other component of the team? How can you evaluate a qb working behind this line? A rb?
I maintain that you can’t.
Please understand that I’ve read everything y’all have written and understand you are frustrated. It just doesn’t make sense to me to blame players who by necessity must rely on the offensive line. It isn’t logical
Thanks for listening
No moreso than losing to Troy, at home, for your homecoming game.Cook did say how Texas performed was part of his consideration. So I guess 0-4 is irrelevant.

Makes you think our NFL prospects might bolt with the prospect of another horrible year for the offense.I am going to guess we lost Cook after last night.

Did you catch the Malik interview after the game. His facial expressions and answers with "we just have to push through it" with a smirk.Makes you think our NFL prospects might bolt with the prospect of another horrible year for the offense.

I came away with the feeling he is gone next year. Cant say I blame him.
No one is spinning a conspiracy man.I completely don't get the conspiracy you guys are spinning. The OL is decimated with injuries, . . injuries that heal.
You could at least consider the sage advice that repeatedly proves true – the only thing certain in life is change. Things don't stay the same no matter how badly we want them to stay the same.
I don't think most recruits think they're seeing the best Texas has or will have. I think they understand what we're up against for the time being.
Malik will be gone because he's the best linebacker in all of college football.
No, that would not have been me. We haven't had a good defense in the 2000s, IMO.No one is spinning a conspiracy man.
I know the talking points are
"We are the defense we relish bailing out our offense every chance. Nah its no big deal offense if you guys cant get a first down, no problem"
Coaches koolaid.
Now back to reality.
I might be mistaken but even you were saying this same thing in 2013 when our defense had to carry the team.
It has to be disheartening on the defense players who play lights out only to lose a game because we cant score more than 14 points the last 2 games. Thats not a sin its only natural.
