Doesn't that get you cancelled nowadays? Put that on social media and see what happens 😉
Perhaps, I was mostly pointing out the silliness of Coot bringing up the 3rd of 3 white safeties Texas has had this century. Often player comps rely too heavily on skin tone.

An FSU loss should clear a path for us. Ohio St/ Michigan and Oregon/Washington will knock each other out.
Just win baby
If Michigan beats OSU, I think OSU falls to 5 or 6. They won't drop much and be the highest ranked 1 loss team. I don't see us jumping them.

I admit to it being a silly post. My bad.

Anything beyond 4 is irrelevant. So from a practical perspective it wouldn't matter.

It's hard to predict how the committee would handle this. It could come down to style points.

We have a very good if not elite pass blocking unit up front. Likely only needing to replace Christian Jones next season. Also, Sark's scheme is not necessarily one that looks to protect the o-line through kick passes, there are plenty of longer developing routes these guys are asked to block for.

They are not a great run blocking unit but that can improve either with another year of development with the current guys or when we start to see some of the young studs jumping the more limited elder statesmen.

29 sacks allowed on the year in 11 games. They need to improve that stat as well.

It is 22 (our defense has 29 sacks)

It would be interesting to see how many of those are to blame on the OL, vs the QB, vs the TEs or RBs.

This last game, Quinn self sacked a few times, which was partially due to him not reading the coverage well, and also not forcing a bad throw. And I know the TEs have whiffed on a few blocks that led to sacks as well.

As a team, it would be nice to see that number lowered. Sarks offense will lead to sacks because he does have some long developing routes.

1941 Longhorns warming up.

Seeing that made me think of a totally random Texas-related football trivia question.

Jack Crain played RB for Texas from 1938 to 1940 earning SWC Player of the Year and All-American honors in 39 and 40. He played high school football for the Nocona Indians and was known as the Nocona Nugget.

Does anyone know who his backup RB was at Nocona in his last two years?

To be answered tomorrow afternoon unless someone correctly guesses the answer.

Kinda strange, . . in the photo it's obviously a home game judging by the scoreboard, but the team is wearing white jerseys.
