Gotta give all the white safeties some love. You guys keep talking Taffe and Gideon but nobody has mentioned Dylan Haines. That guy was a slow intercepting machine.

24/7 shows him as a 3 star safety. It also shows offers from Texas, OU, A&M and Rice.Wasn't Gideon a RB when we recruited him?
Perhaps, I was mostly pointing out the silliness of Coot bringing up the 3rd of 3 white safeties Texas has had this century. Often player comps rely too heavily on skin tone.Doesn't that get you cancelled nowadays? Put that on social media and see what happens![]()
If Michigan beats OSU, I think OSU falls to 5 or 6. They won't drop much and be the highest ranked 1 loss team. I don't see us jumping them.An FSU loss should clear a path for us. Ohio St/ Michigan and Oregon/Washington will knock each other out.
Just win baby

I admit to it being a silly post. My bad.Perhaps, I was mostly pointing out the silliness of Coot bringing up the 3rd of 3 white safeties Texas has had this century. Often player comps rely too heavily on skin tone.
I don’t see it. A one loss conference champion and a better win than anyone OSU has beaten. If Michigan beats OSU, I think OSU falls to 5 or 6. They won't drop much and be the highest ranked 1 loss team. I don't see us jumping them.

We have a very good if not elite pass blocking unit up front. Likely only needing to replace Christian Jones next season. Also, Sark's scheme is not necessarily one that looks to protect the o-line through kick passes, there are plenty of longer developing routes these guys are asked to block for.
They are not a great run blocking unit but that can improve either with another year of development with the current guys or when we start to see some of the young studs jumping the more limited elder statesmen.

It is 22 (our defense has 29 sacks)29 sacks allowed on the year in 11 games. They need to improve that stat as well.
