The End is Nigh

Anwar is now drawing analogies between Charlie and Al Gore

I hope this doesnt mean CS is going to gain 500 pounds after he leaves

I finally caught up reading every post and no one has mentioned this: is it possible that perhaps certain BMD's (in the anti-Strong group) leaked information to the media of Charlie Strong's firing in an effort to put pressure on the ones in charge of making that call to, in fact, pull the trigger?

At this point, everything is possible from it being a clown show to everything is under control.

Good luck finding someone who REALLY knows where things stand on that scale.

I was right there with you Dbut. Here was my post in the press conference thread:

I believe it was donors, acting as 'unnamed sources' who were the genesis of the 'Charlie has been fired' articles. It makes zero sense that the admin would leak their decision. If what you say is true, they are stupider than I thought.

Good stuff Embrey! I hadn't made it to the press conference thread before I posted this...

I have never seen anything this much drama stir up that causes this to be a circus show in my life. Well other than the Lane Kiffen Tennessee horses'''t he caused there... But that's beside the point on that one

That's why Mike didn't post anything further on this situation until if anything was official

Which is kinda what we should all probably do. In my opinion, I totally wouldn't rule out Strong returning next year considering the s#!t show we're in the process of witnessing.

I tell ya DBut I seen the press conference and it's like witnessing a funeral. I couldn't bare to watch it. It was worse than Ryan Newsome making a commit to UCLA and seeing his mom cry. I don't like making that comparison but that's the only analogy I can come up with

BOR members or member is the problem, BMD's don't have as much run that folks like to believe they have.  They can damn sure muddy up the water, but that's about it.

He's gone and beating 5-5 TCU into a pulp couldn't fix his 16-20 record and loss to KU along with shoutout to ISU.  It's on the players whom are coached by Strong and it's on Strong for not coaching up the players.

Certainly it is possible. Just as it is possible that certain people within the administration, with an agenda, have leaked information. Bottom line, information leaks can come from anywhere. There are lots of people with an agenda on both sides of the coin.
