He might get his wish with all this new Baylor news.Don't expect any news out of this for a few days. I think ol' Dan is playing the "lay low" card and hoping that this will blow over.
I'm not seeing any new news today or are you talking about what has been happening the last couple of weeks? He might get his wish with all this new Baylor news.
Damn it's everywhere today.. More cover up has come out...I'm not seeing any new news today or are you talking about what has been happening the last couple of weeks?
Apparently, Shawn Oakman had a domestic violence complaint against him (no charges filed per victim's request I think) back in 2013 that Baylor football knew about and didn't do anything aboutI'm not seeing any new news today or are you talking about what has been happening the last couple of weeks?
What, exactly, should BU have done if no charges were filed?Apparently, Shawn Oakman had a domestic violence complaint against him (no charges filed per victim's request I think) back in 2013 that Baylor football knew about and didn't do anything about
That's a good question, but the narrative being spun is now that he's been arrested for a subsequent violent crime, could Baylor have done something to prevent this by doing something back then? What, exactly, should BU have done if no charges were filed?
There was no question he did not hit the women involved. The police have photos of her face. She declined to pursue charges which is within her right. However why would Briles allow a player to remain on the team which he knew had punched and assaulted a female? BU should have kicked him off the team and out of the university. What, exactly, should BU have done if no charges were filed?
Regardless of charges, there was visual evidence that proved Oakman assaulted the young woman. That's enough in my book for his removal from the team. What, exactly, should BU have done if no charges were filed?
And in my opinion enough evidence that charges should have been filed even without her pressing them. That's a part of the law I don't understand.Regardless of charges, there was visual evidence that proved Oakman assaulted the young woman. That's enough in my book for his removal from the team.
I'm of the opinion that if you purposefully cause harm to someone, regardless of the victims decision, the perpetrator should serve time. And in my opinion enough evidence that charges should have been filed even without her pressing them. That's a part of the law I don't understand.
But, then we're making assumptions.Regardless of charges, there was visual evidence that proved Oakman assaulted the young woman. That's enough in my book for his removal from the team.
