It is, but at this point you know the refs are looking for it so you have to adapt accordingly.

I’m not certain which receiver was ‘beyond’ line of scrimmage, but when he caught that ball, it looked like his right foot was squarely on the los. 

I don’t get it. That rule needs to go if officials are going to abuse it. Either that or replay.
