What is wrong with so many UT fans? Why is there this ideal that we are going to be able to pull very well established coaches away from GREAT situations. Not just good positions, career destinations. The arrogance is absolutely insane.

IMO. I believe that UT is a top 3 to 5 position in the country but did nobody learn from the last hiring search?!

We need an AD who knows how to run a college sports program. UT has about a $200 mil athletics budget that gets about $35 mil from donations. The BMDs at The as have far too much influence for their contributions to UT athletics and are horrendous f##kups when they try to exert their influence.

Was talking to my wife and she said "He still walks away with $10M so he should be happy". True but he's a competitor and he knows his days as a big school coach are over. I listened to some of his post game comments and you could hear it in his voice, he's done.

Don't be surprised if Texas demotes him and keeps him in some capacity. $10M buyout is going to sting, no matter who you are with the exception of Bill Gates.

Why are you worried about who coaches the last game? We just lost to Kansas, Charles. Kansas. I will put on a whistle and coach against TCU if I have to. We could do no worse.
