A seat next to me as I watch the first half on my DVR.What do I get for predicting the "mother of all beat downs"?
Regarding the 3-3-5: How long were those Baylor drives taking? It took Baylor all of the 3rd quarter to score those 10 points because we were not going to give up anything over the top. At one point we had freshman playing every position in the back 7. Texas wasn't going to allow a big play of any kind - they were going to force Baylor to methodically work their way down the field. Feel free to disagree with the strategy - but it worked.i had things to do this morning/afternoon so i just finished watching the game. a bit off my prediction of UT 45 baylor 23 but we were on target to get there at halftime 20-0.
some notes from the game. why in the world do you play 3-3-5 against the wildcat and let them parade down the field over and over. so extremely frustrating. i know we are missing 2 of or LB starters but man that was horrible.
our D still had to go against an experienced baylor OL and skill position players save qb.
swoopes did a good job for playing injured.
i saw a lot of heart and effort. i also saw some very poor execution and bad coaching decisions (3-3-5).
way to end the season with a W!!
I can't wait to put the kids to bed, grab a beer, and watch this game again.A seat next to me as I watch the first half on my DVR.
yeah, i would have to disagree with that strategy. when you have the running backs or wide receivers, anyone that wasn't the 4th string qb, you have to know they are running, over and over.Regarding the 3-3-5: How long were those Baylor drives taking? I guess it's safe to say that you've been to the store then?If she's like my wife, she'll just think we're both full of shit. lol
I told her when it was clear we were going to win that I had called this upset.
"Oh really? Are you going to the store later?"
What do you even say to that? lol
