I think they need to move Shugart to some low leverage situations. Think his confidence is shaken. Get him some low pressure innings to build it back up.

His confidence is not the issue at all. He is plenty confident, overly IMO. I think that may be part of the issue. That and he seems to over throw. Trying too hard to bump his velo and it affects his ability to locate effectively. On that HBP last night on 0-2 Cantu was set up away and the pitch ran up & in. Safe to say he missed his spot.
