Didn't see the game, don't know how many pitches Shugart threw....but he has been disappointing since last year. Throws hard yes, but seems erratic and simply doesn't get outs. Of course I am inferring on his performance in this game based on a few Joey posts.

He got an earful from Pierce tonight on the bump. Probably after as well IYAM. Kid needs to figure it out soon. There are kids waiting to contribute and compete.

I think they need to move Shugart to some low leverage situations. Think his confidence is shaken. Get him some low pressure innings to build it back up.
