Yep. Like I said after the K-State game if you are patient you can generate offense in 3 to 4 innings alone off walks. Amazing how much college pitchers struggle throwing strikes. Also, get good pitches to hit.

my favorite player for the last couple of years has been payton, but i'll tell you, i think ben johnson is one helluva good looking ball player.  fast as shit, great pop, great arm.   works out in the weight room like a fiend and it shows.  this guy is going to be hell on wheels next year.

I agree with you on Johnson. With him & Barrera, the lineup should continue to improve.

Shades of '84? Might the best player on the team be overshadowed by a Clemens?
