Spring Football 2026

Burton says Kaliq Lockett is the only player to get injured during Spring practice so far. Lockett will be good to go by June. Everyone else is either healthy or ending rehab/green jersey status.

Burton: "In the last 20 years, I have not seen a Texas program this dialed in, not across so many different aspects that make up and create a healthy, elite program."

I think the Kool Aid is legit this time around.

Today's practice. WR Kohen Brown (frosh) had a pair of TDs today. RB Jett Walker (frosh) had a rushing TD.

Michael Terry was a name mentioned today. Had a good day.

Hero Kanu, Kosi Okpala, Melvin Siani, and Ian Geffrad were all mentioned as having very good scrimmage.

Kaliq Lockett was on the sidelines without crutches. Good sign.

I know what mean brother. We have a lot about great team this is but there glaring omission of OL. Baker first yr at new position, no left guard for sure,Goolsby still out.

Goosby's rehab is on schedule. Coleman is looking very good there in meantime. This is good because it means when Goosby comes back, we have starter-quality depth at both OTs.

I am hearing that it is not a given that Seymore will walk in and take the LG spot. Jaydon Chatman is performing very well there right now and could hold off Seymore.

Jackson Christian's injury is the only hangup on the OL right now. But he is expected to be good to go by fall.

Every Spring report I read has something about the OL in there. I don't always share that stuff because it's not as sexy as talking about how good Cam Coleman is. lol
