Interested that we are targeting someone who has never called plays before.

SignUp Now!Because the list of spread OC's on successful offenses calling their own plays is pretty short. Now restrict it to guys with some sort of connection to the state. Is there anyone left? If there is - that guy is waiting for a HC gig or is already taking one (see Meacham).Interested that we are targeting someone who has never called plays before.
Of course not - we're the guys hiring them away. Fuentes is a HC as well. Of course OC's, DC's, etc get hired away before bowl games. This isn't unusual. The Toledo coach was an HC, not an OC.
Either way, we're not Toledo.
Ding, ding, ding .... we have a winner here. Cause we all know, what mamma wants, mamma gets.Hey, if Cumbie is married, then he is going to listen if Texas offers him a lot more money than he is currently making![]()
I saw that. I can't imagine UNT is getting anything more promising than Meacham. I mean most people think that Meacham is dipping below his potential in taking the UNT job.
I was thinking the same thing. I'm now curious of who they decide onI saw that. I can't imagine UNT is getting anything more promising than Meacham. I mean most people think that Meacham is dipping below his potential in taking the UNT job.
Ouch!!Another nugget from my guy - "Cumbie will get a raise from TCU and I'm told he's much more excited to work with Kenny Hill than the Texas QBs. Meacham is going to leave."
