Could this yet prove to be another smokescreen to bring cover to Saban. Saban could say Cleveland approached him and then Texas came back in with another huge offer. That opened it back up and he took the opportunity? (He would never choose the Browns over UT or Alabama!)

I haven't read this, but the Lions, the Browns, the Redskins, the Texans... errrybody wants some Saban.

Thanks Shaunsters. I think it's great that there's so much smoke if true and it definitely keeps the pressure off Saban if he's choice 1 and still amenable. However, my concern is that if he's truly choice #1, I hope we've got back channel communication going with choices #2 and #3. Dancing with more then one girl isn't a bad idea if you aren't certain that your top choice isn't a lock...and at this point, no one is a lock.
