OT subject - women

doc,

I teach mostly PreAP Sophs and Juniors.  Occasionally, I see a drawing by a sophomore boy of male genitalia.

Whenever that happens, I highlight it, and have them take it home for Mom and Dad to sign.  (I call home to let parents know that 'Junior' is bringing home an assignment for their signature.)  Surprisingly, after one or two incidents, I rarely see it repeated by any other student.   ;)    I also let the coaches know if the guys curse around the 'ladies' in class.  Then, I go down to the field and watch them do their laps, or rolls, or whatever coach deems appropriate.

I approve of Charlie's core values.

btw, I was grinning when I typed that 'Hello, boys'.  Y'all are terrific guys.  Carry on.

Learned something new today. Had no idea Java was female. Guess I should pay more attention.

If you couldn't **** 'em, there would be a bounty on them!   :D

SFLG, Daddy always told me I was just as good as any man, and he added that I should never forget it!  My husband always said that was his biggest mistake - then our first child was a little girl and a Longhorn.   ;)

UTK66,

Nice to meet you.  SFLG and I love football.  I don't know about SFLG, but I actually get a little down every year when college football season is over.  Being on the board with all of you recruitniks may help some.  I think that planning a trip to the Spring Game would be a good idea,

If the Cowboys play for it all, that will absorb some of the sting, as well, but they haven't done so well in recent years.  Strangely enough, this year, with the bad back, Romo seems to be playing better.  Could it be that in the past he tried to do too much?

Hook 'em!

Busted.  Story of my life.

I do believe there are several females on this blog.  Some, like Java and SFLHG comment, but I believe there are a few that lurk.  Keep this in mind when posting and although they are good sports and put up with our foolishness with minimum suffrage, we should probably endeavor to keep coarse vulgarity to a minimum.  After all we aren't aggys.  :)

Well, they've put up with the stench of our socks and shoes, our laughing at fart jokes, and walking around in our boxers, wife beaters, dark socks and sandals for quite a while, so I think we're safe!

Even though I believe that I still retain my man card (it's around here somewhere), I have literally been bossed around by women most of my life.  Not withstanding my mom and various aunts, teachers and one briliiant microbiology prof and certified shrew, I include the love of my life (you don't know what begging is until you have been married to a German/Irish woman) and multitudes of nurses.  Two nurses in particular that were convinced I was a blithering idiot and firmly believed I cheated my way through medical school.  Both believed I would have been better served practicing proctology rather than pediatrics.

I loved them both more than my golf clubs.

Oh lord, you're a Cowboy fan too? I think I may love you!!

Ironic. . . ..

As the aggies/Texans are the red headed step child of the state trying so hard to get out from under big brother's shadow . . . .

;)
Pfft!  America's team, right?  South America, maybe.  Like the aggy's, they have one good year, in a weak ass conference, and you would think they have won the superbowl.  :P

I agree with Doc on this one.  I'm the only anti-Cowboy fan in my family.  My 49ers are out so have to hear all about Cowboys for the next month.

I grew up in Houston, live in DFW now.

I enjoy rooting for both the Cowboys and Texans, but echeese is right. They definitely have the aggies' "little brother syndrome" chip on the shoulder. I still haven't fully embraced the Cowboys and think Jerrah is the biggest thing holding them back.

I'll never love a NFL team like I did the Oilers. Luv Ya Blue!

Again.

Ironic

What would a Texan fan (or an Oiler fan) know about winning Super Bowls?

Been around for all 5 of Dallas. . .

BTW, we just ROUTED your Division champ and hung 42 on them . . .a team that beat you twice. . .remind me again how you did when you played Da Boys?

We beat the other 2 teams in your conference as well . .. .

Not sure I'd be talking division strength smack considering we own your division. . .

:D

Always funny to listen to the aggies try to spin their lack of hardware . . . .

It is interesting, right now JJ is the odds on favorite for Exec of the year. . .

Relondo McClain a top candidate for comeback player of the year.

Murray and Romo strong MVP candidates

Martin might be the 1st OL to win Rookie of the Year . ..and he'd deserve it.  ..

But agree, loved teh old Earlers .. . .
