I hear there are a LOT of sooner fans that are ready to chuck Big Game Bob - it wouldn't surprise me if he took the Gator gig in Gainesville - IF the gators want really want him.  IMO he would be a bigger frog in bigger pond / swamp, more $$$ and he escapes Hooterville.

Hook 'Em!

I think Charlie gets a big raise by either staying at Texas or leaving for Florida. He will be on their extra short list. Would not surprise if he bolted to the Gators. If you think it is impossible, you drink too much orange drink or wear very thick orange glasses.
If you really think this is possible, you are drinking some really strong stuff or you are wearing some very think Florida blue glasses.

Vegas odds show both Mike Gundy & Bob Stoops in the Top 3 to be next Head Gator

It's 6 million. I think the Lane Kiffin route is the best way to rehabilitate his reputation for another HC job. Associate yourself with a winning program for a couple of years and someone will take a chance on you. If Michigan hires an offensive coach like Dan Mullen that might be a good spot.

If I am Florida. . .Dan Mullen is my first call . . .

Though they might have a bidding war with Michigan. . . .

I've read from more than one place that Mullen and Foley are not too chummy, so it doesn't look like Florida would be interested.

Bovada odds --

Bob Stoops 9/2
Mike Gundy 9/2
Jim McElwain 11/2
Dan Mullen 6/1
Mike Shanahan 8/1
Rich Rodriguez 17/2
Hugh Freeze 10/1
Steve Spurrier 10/1
Gary Patterson 14/1
Gus Malzhan 14/1
Jim Tressel 15/1
Greg Schiano 20/1

note:  Bovada correctly identified Charlie Strong as the favorite to replace Mack Brown at Texas when the Longhorns' head coaching position came open last offseason.

stoops has the best agent in the history of agents.  he's been fixin' to leave ou (and getting pay raises) for 15 years.

i don't know squat, but i think i'd put a benjamin on rich rod at those odds.

spurrier? he'll be 70 next spring. that doesn't make much sense.

Brett McMurphy of ESPN has reported that his sources has said that Florida is not interested in Rich Rod or Dan Mullen. You may want to spend that Benjamin on something else.

My sources >>>> McMurphy's sources.

Like i said, i don't know squat, but i would say that every coach who has ever changed jobs either said they had no intererst or the school denied having any interest. Part of the dance.

I'm impressed, one way to prove it and that's betting on Rich Rod to be the Florida coach.
