On if he has interest in the head coaching position at Florida: I have a great job here, and I say this, we have a lot of work to get done here. I'm not very pleased with where we are right now. I look at our record and know we could have been a lot better, and there is still a lot of work to get done here.

If Charlie isn't interested why not say ," No I'm not interested...instead of beating around the bush and not answering the question directly ? ...Not to mention the mindset of the players when they here Charlie DIDN'T say NO......hhhmmmmm.

GBT, I guess you havn't Been paying attention to just what type of man Charlie Strong is. If you think he would make a long term commitment to UT only to bolt after less than a year, then you are not very perceptive.

No, he won't even entertain Florida. I'll go one further and say not a single assistant will entertain leaving as well. It did take awhile but this staff has come together and they are all in with Charlie. I cannot emphasize enough how much these guys, the assistants and players want to go to battle for Coach Strong.

Like I said, it's taken time but where they were and where they are is an amazing path.

I've read from more than one place that Mullen and Foley are not too chummy, so it doesn't look like Florida would be interested.
