Kirk Bohls just tweeted article from AAS reporting Mack is trying to renegotiate a higher buyout. WTF??? He pisses me off more and more. He's bound and determined to eff up our next coaching hire!

I dont think Mack is going to have any input or control over UT's hire. Not after what went down. In fact its been reported by several Mack would have zero input or control over the process. Powers as well. IT mentioned today he was not going to be directing Patterson and the committee and would basically sign off on who they hire.

My theory based upon human behavior.

1. Mack is butt-hurt.

2. Saban is the #1 choice by most BMD/Regents

3. Saban, Patterson, Sexton and most BMD's are on the same page for 2014

4. Mack has some dirt on Saban, and/or others involved and it must be legit. My guess is a recruiting issue.

5. The folks in line 3. Above, don't want it to be public knowledge.

6. Mack wants a bigger payoff for his silence. JJ is still backing this, or he would have been blown out by now.

7. Group in line 3 is trying to figure out how to navigate the minefield without giving up the marriage.

Im really confused. How can he attempt to "renegotiate" when he already handed in his resignation? It's pretty much done at that point. Not like I can "renegotiate" my notice that Im vacating my job. This whole situation becomes more confusing by the minute. Can anyone give me a valium? lol
