SignUp Now!Mentioned this in another thread. Never heard an official stating that a timeout had been called during a play. Really that Utah was going to get screwed. Glad they didn’t. Loved the pressure the Utes brought at the end.Just watched the end of Utah and USC.
During the last USC drive they threw an interception but there was a defensive interference call. The Utah player ran the ball back and when he went out of bounds there was 8 seconds left in the game. The officials marked off the 15 yard penalty and then said USC called a time out during the run so they put 13 seconds on the clock.
How does a team get awarded a timeout in the middle of a play when the other team has the ball?
