They think Williams will start even though he missed spring ball?
If he's back healthy, I don't think they will keep him off the field. He was starting as a freshman and looked pretty good. Keep in mind this is former 5 star safety Derrick. Not Freshman Jonah who also plays baseball.

This years LB room is the best since? 1988 or 2005?
2005 LBs: Drew Kelson and then Robert Killebrew, Aaron Harris and Rashad Bobino.

Statistically: Kelson and Killebrew combined for 103 tackles, 12 TFLs, 5 sacks, 1 int, 4 FF
Harris - 91 tackles, 12 TFLs, 4 sacks, 1 int and 2 FF
Bobino - 53 tackles, 7 TFLs, 2 sacks and 1 FF

In 2024:
Anthony Hill - 113 tackles, 16.5 TFLs, 8 sacks, 1 int, 4 FF
Lefau - 63 tackles, 5 TFLs, 2 sacks, 1 int, 1 FF
Trey Moore (listed as LB on 2025 roster) - 35 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, 6.5 sacks, 3 FF
Brad Spence (at Arkansas) - 54 tackles, 6 TFLs, 4.5 sacks

It's reasonable to believe that the 24 linebackers will all have even more impact in 2025. Could that group be more impactful than the 2005 group? Led by Anthony Hill, who will likely end up on the mount rushmore of Texas linebackers, I wouldn't be surprised that this group of LBs can be one of the best we have seen.

What SEC team might trip up Texas?
Florida, Kentucky or zero u?
Out of those 3 Florida.

Kentucky just doesn't have the roster. OU has a roster, and especially if their OL and QB work out, will be competitive. But no way Texas comes out flat in that game. Florida on the road, with a healthy DJ Lagway could be dangerous.

Agree. OU will be far better than they were last year, especially on defense. Venebles knows if he wins this game, he likely keeps his job. I expect his best effort ini prepping for Texas. It will be a challenge for Sark to stay a step ahead of him.

I have no expectation of resistance from Kentucky.

Florida is aa sleeping giant, IMO. I think they exceed their expectations this year and will give Texas fits in Gainsville.
