Definitely 100 times less annoying to listen to, unless you enjoy constant self adulation.
Didn't hear then but would like buy for what he worth & sell him what he thinks he worth.Rod, Jerry,Jeff ok and don't see no more but Paul Wadlington.

Some notes from OTF about the team, paraphrased

– Caldwell, the transfer from Troy, has been impressive. Bobby thinks he has replaced Trey Owens at the #2.

– Clark has looked better than ever. Seems his rehab is fully done. Baxter likely not ready for OSU, but maybe after.

– Past the first four at WR, depth could be a problem.

– Endries will start at TE. Winston is too good not to play. Great hands, high IQ, physical plaayer.

– Transfer Maarad Watson has impressed. He will play a lot. Alex January is drawing high praise as well along with Ethan Burke and Colton Vasek.

– LB group is most talented in some time at UT

– Secondary, there are 8 legit candidates to win 5 spots. Lots of talent.

– Manning has a different approach for 7-on-7s than Ewers had. Ewers worked primarily on his intermediate and short passing game. Manning has aired it out much more than Ewers ever did. Manning seems to change the type of practice they have depending on what he wants to work on.

Did anyone ever figure out why Jontay Cook spiraled out of control so quickly last year?

Probably freaked out beacuse he was a pampered 5-star where everyone adored him to not being able to get meaningful playing time. Something happened during that last year where he just headed south.

Per Rod Babers, the five projected starters in the secondary are Guilbeau, Muhammed, Williams, Taafe and McDonald.

This makes me think Guilbeau is officially on the Jahdae Barron plan. Where he moves from the slot to play out wide to improve his draft stock.

That spot is the biggest question mark on the defense for me. Can he hold up out there? Or can Black grow enough to take over that spot and move Guilbeau back inside?
