PK has it as good at Texas as it's going to get and don't see him going anywhere. Having said that, the program is an attractive option for top d coordinators. We'll be ok if he takes a job elsewhere. Couldn't say that a few years ago
Texas has always been an attractive stop for assistants, Chizik and Muschamp used it to land HC gigs, but after that DC knew that Texas was a program in disarray and didn't want that on their resume

Being excited to see Manning play is one thing but I dont want to throw the kid to the wolves and wreck his confidence. MM is a RS Freshman I have my doubt Manning would perform any better being a true freshman. There are exceptions so you never know but I trust Sark.
I agree, we won't see Arch this year, at all likely, unless we get into some deep mop up duty snaps somehow. Not sure if my comment made you think I wanted Arch to play this year.

Respect is not given it earned. And the elite defence has been leaky in a couple of games.
KSU is a running football team. It's what they do first and foremost. We absolutely took that away from them and stuck them with their lowest numbers of the whole season.

We had injuries in the secondary, not at full force, and are playing a flawed scheme (10 yd cushion on all downs).

I don't know what it takes to get your respect, but they have mine.

I don't follow the NFL except the occasional Cowboys game but 8 QBs are not going in the first 2 rounds, not when they can be picked up cheap later plus with the rookie salary cap it doesnt really matter

As for the next QB1, Sark has a favorite at the QB position he showed that last year with Card, if Quinn stick around its his job till he leaves, if he leaves, he will jump Arch over MM despite how the rest of the year plays out
Most scouts have 6+ QBs in their top 50 or 100 lists which mean day 1-2 picks and guaranteed contracts. Coming out a year early also gets you to Free agency a year sooner where the most money will be made. If you are projected to be picked in the first 3 rounds of the draft it usually makes the most sense to turn pro from a financial prospective.

Agree... We held them to their lowest running output in 9 years... That's a team that prides itself in running the ball. We took that from them and if not for Ill advised decisions by Maalik, we crush them on the scoreboard.
