Per On3, USC is interested in Coach PK for their open defensive coordinator position.
USC will pony up the money to pay him but I wouldn't trust Lincoln Riley further than I could kick his can down the street, they have lots of blue chip athletes and are first on every kid's list in Calif, but Grinch's defensive scheme is worse than ours, their DB' all play physical one one one coverage, and for whatever reason USC puts guys into the NFL

if whoever has the #1 pick in the NFL has a coach on the hot seat expect them to take Williams and Riley together
and right now that is Arizona with one win

I am amazed at how much Quinn has improved since he was injured.

At least in the minds of the fans.....before , I think half the fans thought MM was better.....now we know
...
Im one of those fans, would like to see his entire tenure as QB1 at UT before I pass judgement, the way I see it he has two starts and one 4th qtr drive, he had one crappy game and somehow we are 3-0

If Manning wins the job in 2024, MM will transfer somewhere and ultimately be in the NFL. I can't imagine how good MM might be under Sark for 4 years. But I understand Manning is just that good to warrant the prediction.
Here is a possibility not many are considering with MM; he could potentially be on campus for 5 if not 6 years (could qualify for injury redshirt). That means he could be on campus 1 or 2 years longer than Arch.

I'm not sure he would want to take that route, especially if he has good options to start elsewhere but not a bad career move to be coached up by Sark for 5-6 years and be a starter in this system for 1-2 years.

IT wrote this morning PK won't be interested.
PK has it as good at Texas as it's going to get and don't see him going anywhere. Having said that, the program is an attractive option for top d coordinators. We'll be ok if he takes a job elsewhere. Couldn't say that a few years ago

Being excited to see Manning play is one thing but I dont want to throw the kid to the wolves and wreck his confidence. MM is a RS Freshman I have my doubt Manning would perform any better being a true freshman. There are exceptions so you never know but I trust Sark.

Just met a guy at the golf course up here in St Louis and he's an Ole Miss guy. He said that Arch Manning is pissed that he didn't play last week's game and he's going to enter the portal. I just smirked and just said yeah. Well you never know with this portal thing. That is all. I just found that funny. He saw my golf bag and just brought it up

The back-up QB will always be the fan favorite. That being said, BRING ON MANNING, NOW!!!

Lol. I saw a documentary about the Mannings. Archie was asked about his son's recruitments, and the only thing he told them is once you commit, that's it. No decommitments. Honor your word. Even in this day and age, I don't believe Arch will look elsewhere unless some crazy Chris Beard type thing were to happen. We're in good shape at QB for a few years.

I could honestly see Arch being here for five years. Development and accomplishments are big for him and I don't think money is the motivator like it is for some other players. Once he's starting, NIL will more than meet any desire for the better things in life.
