So we're tied with osu atop the B12. They have a very easy path to the CCG, and we have a manageable path, especially if we get QE back next week. If we get the after 1Q MM, we will be in trouble. Arch may get a shot next week especially if MM isn't healthy.
As far as playoffs go, everyone ahead of us has won except for Washington who is in a shootout with SC.

When has Taafe been beaten over the top? I seriously don’t remember. I can name plays where Crawford and Williams got beat over the top, but not Taafe. You may be right…. But I haven’t noticed this problem.
I remember multiple games where he, the deepest safety, let guys catch the ball behind him or failed to cover them
Why can't he run a version of the 18 wheeler package on short yardage?
The challenge is, we don't know what the coverages called are and what rules each player is supposed to follow. Good football minds like Rod Babers can figure stuff out at times from watching the film but even then it is a bit of a guess.
The deep post TD yesterday was probably due to the safety coming up on the TE and leaving the CB (Brooks) expecting deep help that wasn't there. So, did Brooks get beat or was it the safeties fault.
Ultimately, too many breakdowns or miscommunications deep by our secondary that allow easy deep ball completions. Something that needs to improve going forward.
Coverage on the final 4th down play was solid and resulted in the sack for the win.

Hello my brothers, I'm back from the deer lease. No, didn't see much but hey, there were 35 guys invading 2500 acres, most of them city boys who don't really know how to hunt. Speeding up and down the lease's dirt roads, raising hell at night, you know how it goes. Through the weekend I heard about 7-8 shots in the distance (but still on the lease). So I thought to myself, "hey, somebody is seeing something. So there's promise in that. lol.
So I stop by the main camp to the group of guys (I know none of them) and asked who had gotten a deer yet. Guy steps forward saying "we didn't see anything at all. Nothing." acting disappointed.
So I said "well, which one of you is shooting up the woods? I was sure somebody was getting a deer out of that."
"Gee, I don't know."
Good enough, I drove back into the lease at that point. What had happened is they've got a couple of guys who are lousy shots, had the opportunity, and missed. So I understand not wanting to admit that. lol
Anyway, my son Austin and I take a break at noon, drive down to this country store where they served food, and they had a TV with the Texas game on. Of course, I sat down to watch immediately. I picked it up right after the half. Several minutes later, my son is done and he's wanting to get back into the stand. We're up 27-7 so I told him "hey they won't come back from that margin, I think it's safe to go. So we left.
In the stand, I couldn't stand it so I opened up the phone's ESPN app and I watched the play-by-play text. By that time, it was tied at 30. I couldn't believe it. I was pissed. So glad we pulled it out but damn, why can't we put a team away and put the foot on the throat?
So glad we won but damn, that can't happen anymore.
