The Bama roster. I don't see a Brockermeyer on it. Isn't this their third year now?

speaking of the brockermires....It occurred to me that we were really disapointed they chose Bama. Fast forward to today.

They still have not cracked the 2 deep at Bama. They had to go there for the express prupose of giving them the best chance at the NFL. We know they didnt go there for the superior education. Now (if they make the traveling squad) they will look accross the field and see not 1, but 2 freshmen in our starting O line. Not only that, but Banks looks pretty good. Do you think they might have that niggling thought in the back of their mind that they made a mistake?

Besides that, they are likely to go in the same draft as Banks. Who will get called first? Banks already has more experience. I am not campaigning for them to portal. I think they made their choice. I just wonder if it pisses them off that Austin might have been a better situation.

Would their NFL prospects have been any better off under Herman and Co.? I believe Flood could have done good things with them but who's to say they would have stayed long enough to have played for the current staff. Sad result for a once promising duo.

Don't blame them, blame Herman for ticking off daddy Brockermeyer. They probably would have started here and had plenty of exposure, good or bad.

Yeah, but did let his anger towards one coach cause a three-year stint on the bench (and counting) for his kids?

Bama only travels with 65 players. It is doubtful either Brock is on that 65 player list.

Would seem to indicate just how much of a pr... the coach could be. I will admit to not believing he was that much of one and even believing early on that he could/would be successful at Texas but his actions seemed to irritate more than just the Brocks.

Could very well be I was blinded by the hope Texas had finally found someone who could turn the ship around. Fortunately I found another pair of Burnt Orange glasses so my hope is restored with the current staff.

You're right, but I doubt that he expected that at the time.

It’s the Brockermeyer boys 2nd year. They are redshirt freshmen.
Tommy will play at some point James is there because he’s Tommy’s brother.
IF they hit the portal I would only be interested in Tommy.
I think Luke is the 2nd best of the three and if we hadn’t completely wiffed on recruiting LB’s the last few years he wouldn’t have ever seen the field.

Also right, but if they had come to Texas, I believe one or both could have started last year and this year. There was a much better chance for early playing time at Texas for sure.

Maybe so, maybe not. I hear the larger Brock hasn't been the same since his shoulder injury. I think that happened at the end of his senior season.

I think you are off on James. He started off as a 3 star type but ended the recruiting cycle a 4 star and in the top 200 overall.
