Here's my goals and benchmark for 2015 season to make the next recruiting class a home run.

10 wins or more... no more than 2 losses. Period!

beat OU

beat TCU

 -- those are two skins I really want... OU in Dallas, TCU a road game in Ft. Worth

What am I saying...

beat Baylor

so three skins that I consider a must

if there be 2 losses, let them be elsewhere.

win the BigXII, or come in 2nd and get to a New Year's BCS Bowl Game

I'd really go for 11-1. Don't want to see any losses.

How did we get to the point we play Baylor and TCU on the road the same years?

How about 6-0 after October 10, with two weeks off to get ready for the rest of the season?

Take it from there!  Aren't all these games winnable? No,we don't count the spring game

We're really the last white helmet in the conference.

KU, Tech, Baylor, OSU and ISU will use a white helmet from time to time.

Texas and Kansas State are pretty much the only teams left in the Big 12 who don't change their helmets up. Even when we go throw-back, we just lower Bevo and slap a 100 on there.

I feel that at some point Texas will come out with something flashy. It's bound to happen. I'm just not sure how I'll handle it when it happens.

sha, quite honestly, I don't care what Baylor, TCU, OU, OSU, Tech, KSU, KU, ISU, and WVU do. We are Texas. That is not a statement that means we don't need to work harder or smarter, because we do. We will draw dedicated athletes because we hire great coaches, have great tradition, are located in one of the greatest cities, and have top notch resources. For these reasons, we will win.

Those black uniforms are hideous. They take off at least a year's worth of strength and conditioning. They make guys look like ants in drag on the field. Don't believe it, look at Tech when they wear them. Those oil can helmets look like someone ran out of money and told the company to send out the base model. Forget that!

Screw the black uniforms. We're Texas. Let's act like it.

Edit: If they want to practice in those suckers in August and September, it's fine by me, but it won't happen more than once if they are practicing outside. They don't know hot until they wear that crap.
