How Baylor Happened

Oregon says hi

I would not want the Pac-12. Just too far away, games too late, no natural rivalries. Can you imagine a night game with Wash State?

Independent – schedule anybody you want, rack up the wins, go bowling/CFP. Look at how ND has been treated.
I forgot about Oregon's shenanigans. Shows how closely I follow the Pac-12.

ND isn't truly an independent in football. Aren't they contractually obligated to play at least 5 ACC opponents annually? But, I have no idea what the terms of their deal is nor how they decide on ACC match-ups.

Agree it's a sweetheart deal for them, though.

I'm thinking Big 10 or ACC. Us and ou to the Big 10 or us and ND to the ACC.

Who do you wanna see us play annually besides Michigan and Ohio State?

We've already got them on future schedules. Maybe Penn State? What other match-ups are intriguing to you?

I would love to exacerbate Nebraska's descent into mediocrity. Wisconsin and Michigan State would be interesting opponents. Not to mention the TV footprint Texas would enjoy.

Edit

But honestly I would love to see the Big 12 expand by raiding the ACC and adding Boise St and/or BYU. I want the Big 12 to succeed so I can say F aggy every season they struggle in the SEC west.

Nebraska - aka corn aggy - doesn't want any part of UT.

1-9 in the Big 12 Era. F corn aggy - http://www.winsipedia.com/texas/vs/nebraska

Boise State and BYU.

To each his own. BYU has been a quality program for several decades (with a NC). Boise hasn't dropped too much after Peterson left and has some quality wins under their belt.
The top Big 12 teams in recruiting in the Big 12 after UT and OU was TCU with the 33rd rated class. Boise State was rated 50th and BYU had the 80th rated class. They are both in small TV markets. The Big 12 had a big contest a couple of years for two teams to join and found out no one was worth taking. Typical Big 12.

I much rather have BYU or Boise State than Kansas who brings nothing to football, but we need them for basketball. Baylor is a different matter.

Don't forget that BYU has many grown ass men - Morman missionaries - on their roster who come back as 22 to 26 year-old "college athletes". We were reminded of this recently when they kicked our butts twice.

Please don't remind me of that Thursday night ass kicking they put on UT.
