Hermann needs to go

Per Herman if the A team shows up we win. Or words to that effect.

The only A team so for is auful.

BMDs are aware of this and the importance of timing. Auburn fans are also wanting Urban Meyer. I don't think Auburn is the same category job as Texas is, but Urban Meyer might think so or at least the challenge of bringing down Saban right there in his own back yard.

I thought I read on this thread or maybe it was another that Texas controls its own destiny. I think I found a scenario where they don't. If Texas wins out, 0u wins out and K st wins all of their games other than UT, Texas is left out.

I don't think it will matter after Halloween.

This is where I'm torn. I want Herman gone but I also want the team to win every game.
I don't have any conflicts are far a who I am rooting for. I can't stand Oklahoma State and Gundy and would love to give them their first loss and drop them from their top ten rating. One of the IT guys was asked how UT will do against the Cowboys and he said that Oklahoma State will probably beat us like a drum.

They have a good QB with Sanders that can both throw and run and one of the top running backs in the country .and they also have a Biletnikoff candidate in Tylan Wallace. OSU has a top twenty defense and Herman said nine out of the eleven starters are either juniors or seniors.

I am prepared for a loss on Saturday and the possibility of an embarrassment for Texas fans on Halloween. If UT does pull off an upset then it will be all the sweeter.

Based on performances so far this year, it would be a stunning upset for Texas to win.  But if we do, there’s still a good chance that we lose one or two of the 4 remaining down to the wire games on the schedule...

Is this a response to a specific post, inside information or a general speculation?
He's letting the board know there are multiple wheels in motion behind the scenes right now. In my circles, I've heard a number was floated from UM to BMDs a week ago. If that deal had fallen apart, then there would be little to no activity right now. Instead, it has ramped up, so to speak.

Mike's getting this from IT, who is pretty well plugged in on this situation – likely because it hasn't been so long since we did this last. Geez, I've read their stuff lately and you can tell by the things they say and how they say it that they're well connected.

I have zero confidence of pulling out another win the rest of the year, except for maybe KU. But we had difficulty beating the mighty Kansas Jayhawks last year so it may be iffy.  Maybe if West Virginia's wide receivers drop as many balls as they did against Tech, we may have a better chance with that one.

yes and heard from a friend.

well this was my reason for saying Herman needs to go, its crucial now
You have good reason to point out we're about to lose Ewers.

1. Adds fuel to the fire Herman now movement. Losing Ewers would be like losing to Okie State twice.

2. Shows that the recruits have little faith in Herman being here next year.
