Just realized TCU plays Vanderbilt in the winner's bracket.

Crystal ball says...

TCU wins, sending Vandy to the loser's bracket.

CS-Fullerton beats LSU sending them home with some barbecue.

Vandy has to play CS-F again.

Game on.

Not an Arky fan by any stretch, but one of their batters just got pegged in the upper shoulder, he didn't step into it, he just turned his back to the P.

Blue said he moved into it.  HORRIBLE call.

Yea, I'm pulling for Miami and thought blue missed that call myself.

One minute they're popping the cork on Champagne bottles and mooning their Longhorn neighbors, the next, they're taking off their Johnny Football replica helmets and running head first into flagpole with the SEC flag that they sued the Homeowners Association to erect.

Virginia pitcher would make a good quarterback.

Top of 8th, runners at 1st and 3rd, hard hit ball right at him.

Looked off 3rd-to-home, 2nd, 3rd,..2nd...

With no glove. It had been knocked to the ground.

That fast. Then threw out the runner coming into 2nd with a foot to spare.

Gathering at the mound after the out, everyone laughing.

At the time, there were no outs.

Proceeded to close out the inning thanks to line drives and quick easy grounders.

Preserved a 1-0 lead with an inning to play.

Florida has 3 outs left, or they join the losers bracket.

sec is 2-4 in 6 games -- one already going home (Arkansas).

only Vanderbilt is still in the winner's bracket after all four opening round games.

SEC conference was evenly seeded into each of the four brackets. None facing the other in opening games.

No SEC West team has won a game. Yet.

I'm not exactly picking on the SEC.

They got bids for half the field.

They were seeded evenly into each of the four brackets.

I think only Vandy -- defending champ -- got a low seed position in the opening games.

They are the only one in the winner's bracket, and relied a postponed game, but get credit for a great rally in the 9th.

Actually need one more day to add up the complete opening rounds. LSU and Vandy play tomorrow to finish out SEC's first 8 games.
Holding at 2-4. May even it up. We'll see.
