College World Series

FINAL

TCU 10

LSU 3

The Horned Frogs got a gem from Preston Morrison and the offense backed him up in a big way, including 4 runs, all coming with two outs, in the 7th.

Nothing like having an offense to help a great pitcher out against a good hitting team. Constant pressure helps to create errors too. Nothing like offense.

High praise from Schlossnagle...

All aggys on suicide watch, again.
I'm sure TCU crushing LSU is killing them.

aggys are something. A friend sent me via email a link to texags where they are questioning the value of Vandy in regards to the $ec while pumping the $ec. You know, the team that won the CWS, which is one of the men's major sports, last year? They want so bad to be relevant but alas, they just aren't.

Water is wet tejasrulz. Same aggies, just a different PO Box.

I know joeywa. Just when I don't think I can be surprised/amazed by them anymore, they prove me wrong.

CSF v Vandy was supposed to be the 2nd half of today's twin bill. Mother nature had other ideas:

It kept raining. Game is pushed back to 2:00 CST.

Wow.  Fullerton just shit the bed.  Had Vandy down 3-1 going into B9.  Lets one get across, then gives up a walkoff 2 run dinger.

Vandy moves to winner bracket.  Unbelievable.

Starting pitcher had the day, the flow, the game... then stop and give momentum to opposition on any "do over" game.

So, Here's an idea.

With 1/2 a quarter to play in football and basketball, just stop play and finish the game the following afternoon.

College, Pros. Give everybody a Do-Over. A re-start. Get your head together overnight and decide if you really want this game.

Cool the heels of the team that's having a good day. Make em think about it overnight.

Or, if weather dooms a game... call it a game. Especially baseball that relies on Cold and Hot when it comes to pitchers.

This business of needing 9 innings is not any better than needing to close out a game after 6 full innings.

If they had to play again, then play a full game on the makeup. If the first game does not count, then none of it counts.

9 innings, 0-0, play the whole thing. Or don't play anymore.

Not an Arky fan by any stretch, but one of their batters just got pegged in the upper shoulder, he didn't step into it, he just turned his back to the P.

Blue said he moved into it.  HORRIBLE call.
