and since you are concerned as per my OB mentioning.  i am also a member of OB!  have been for years.  i am certainly highly abreast at just how outrageous they can become at times ..owner, and members.  but i shall tell you what doc. no one upon this board seems to harbor a serious problem as per all of the (cut and paste) information that i have been adding for our HS members lately (much of it from the OB), to help keep them abreast, as per the most current up to date goings on as per the 40 acres.  not to mention, all of the other sites that i have been retrieving information from.  so we shall not start with the OB hatred ok...

Doc, I agree with your sentiment 100%.  I gotta say though that by quoting his previous post, somehow, magically, it became much more readable, so I will blame it on give you credit.    I like Monarch, too.  He has had many good things to say on this forum.  I have agreed with him on some maybe not so popular opinions and on some others, I have given what he has had to say a lot of thought when maybe I did not initially agree, or shall I say perhaps I did not fully understand in the beginning, only to come around to support his position, and then after oh so eloquently making my position known, only to have the thread ripped from the bowels of this forum! 

Monarch has a unique style.  I look forward to what interesting graphics he will come up with next.  Center line justification, I can do without, but that is the style that he uses to convey his message, and that is all right with me.  His verbosity and manner of expression are uniquely his ... and well ... all I can say about that is let he or she who is without many words and a propensity of stringing many of them together in one POST AT A TIME ... well, I say let THAT person cast the first epithet!    Now, Brothers and Sisters of the HornsSports of the Friend of Bevo, I say to you that I do not begrudge Monarch any of his opinions of his posts or the subjects of his threads, though I say to you that I reserve the rights invested in me by HornSports of the Friend of Bevo to malign and otherwise impugn those opinions and thread subjects that I so deem to be worthy of derision on the basis of their not being, in my mind. of any real value in the grandest scheme of things, albeit, I must admit that to be reasonable, most all subjects to be found on sports forums such as this, would regretfully be worthy of such derision by at least a few of the otherwise worthy patrons of HornsSports.

I must say that the only point of contention that I have with Monarch with regards to this kerfuffle, is that in his last long post, his use of background color makes the post virtually impossible for me to read.  As many of you know, I have a propensity to get a tad irritable at times, and I just gotta say that it irritates me that Monarch has chosen not to respond to that at all, as if it is of no importance, his only response being to you, "uuuuuuuuhhhmmm.. don't worry too much about it doc.  i am most certain that the overall message.. shall indeed surface to some degree.", and to java, "ok, well i shall mean this in the most constructive way... as long as dennis reads it.. that is all that matters.  get it!  got it!  good!", when in fact, all of our three comments addressing the readability of his post were sincere and not in the least bit disingenuous ... and THAT part of our comments has not been responded to.

now, if i would to choose a formatting style to eliminate.. it shall be the overall theme as per your content.  example: you have mentioned at times, regarding your personal body pains, illnesses, headaches, etc... well, you need to understand, that posting upon an open forum / website, that is usually dominated by the male persuasion... it is sometimes a bit discomforting as per males to try and help a woman diagnose female related issues.  now many of our members have tried in earnest to help guide you along with your personal relationships as per your BF's, but even then that is a bit difficult, because when all is said and done... we really have not heard the other person's remarks.  that is to ensure that all is hereby fair.  also, there was a particular post of yours that darn near made me do a couple of james brown back flips, landing into one of his now famous half floor splits.... was when you stated that "you were at a kids birthday party" and well, you know the rest of that one.  i mean, i had to just sit down, and focus big time on that one... i mean, WOW!

of course these are just thoughts.  however, these are very good variations of life, that us human beings just want to convey, just to gather an unbiased opinion sometimes.  not to mention, it just adds a new dimension to the forum... something else to think about....

Monarch - why are you being so contentious?  All we are saying is your post was difficult for most of us to have the patience to read -  and we were interested in what you had to say.

If, someone thought my posts were hard to read, I would want to know and i would appreciate them telling me.  God only knows I have had many a nurse chew me out for that very reason.

As far as OB, I am not a member, but I HAVE read where the owner admitted to aliases.  And I HAVE seen some of the back and forth dialog he has had with members.  And I don't hate anyone - I just choose not to give this type of blog my money.  If you have no problem with it - well., that's you.

As far as quoting OB material on this blog - that's great because that has been the case with 247 and IT material as well.  Some of which I have brought myself.  Some which has been brought by others - including OB material.

It's all good and we are OK - right?

I'm not sure why you are being so defensive. Many posters are very politely pointing out that center formatting and tiny text outlined with a white background over gray and multiple colors, in addition to your colorful writing style, makes for a difficult reading experience. We want to banter and have an open dialogue with you but I, like many, could not even begin to read that post. I realize you are having fun with all the formatting options on these boards, and you can write and post however you please. But if someone points out the difficulty in reading your post, you should expect that and not get so indignant about it. Just my opinion, and not a personal assault on your writing style.

Regarding OB: I was a paying member there for many, many years, and I made the conscious decision to let me membership expire a few months ago. It is the reason I came to this board, actually. while there is some great information over there, their community and owner just got too annoying for me to continue paying money. I appreciate the information posted here and hope this site continues to grow in a positive manner.

Monarch, my buddy, my pal, I love your contributions to Horn Sports.  Sorry if our polite suggestions offended you in anyway.  Our suggestions to your formatting was to help US read your posts.  You have lots of passion and valuable words to share but sometimes, it's just plain hard to read.  Personally, your writing style is fine with me, it's just the centering that needed correcting.  Easy one push of button, easily fixed, we can all read your valuable words, and banter back and forth. That's all.  For example, on OB, I received lots of crap for my enlarged signature pic.  I felt terrible it caused slow content downloads, so I deleted it.  I wasn't annoyed or angry with the feedback.  I was glad they told me because I didn't want my posts to cause headaches.  

Personally, I was hoping this thread would be buried and forgotten because yes, I was quite offended, but I don't hold grudges to anyone that hurts my feeling through the interwebs because that's just silly.  I liked your comment because I could finally read the post.  It wasn't centered.  And I don't have ADD, just trying to make fun of myself because I wished I had the patience to read your posts.
