the rrr uniforms, were designed specifically as per that particular event.  however, the newest helmet design upon my view.. is quite contemporary and epic.  i am most certain, that the player's that have to wear them.. shall love the great look...

we're going to have one uniform thread per day until the season starts, aren't we?

Yeah, yeah...it's what the kids want, you have to have it for recruiting, blah, blah, blah.

edit...my bad. just saw the other thread. make that two threads per day.

the usual suspects...

Masterful? Hardly.

We will NEVER have that crap on our football players. Think I'm wrong? Then Moarch, you give the amount of money that those that want to stay traditional give, then you can have your vomit hats. Til then, know we are Texas and don't need to swag ourselves up. What we have is what is good about college football, traditions that matter.

Guys, no need to take it so personal..lol. People use buzz words like swag and gimmick when talking about uniforms, as if having swag is terrible. I get the idea that some of you get the idea that swag=aggie...Swagger is about confidence, but I digress . I am sure the traditionalist at Michigan and Notre Dame don't like that things get switched up once a year, but hey it happens. Don't take it as a kick in the pants when someone is for alternative unis, it doesn't make them a poor supporter of the program, and being a "traditionalist" doesn't equal better...don't be the guy that tries to shame others for have different ideas...that shouldn't be what starts here..

What we really need is a dedicated forum only for uniform threads and posts.

And for the Navy uniform, they need to have slots in the jersey up over the shoulders for Ninja Stars!  You know, the service academies usually have smaller offensive linemen than most of the teams that they play.  The quarterback can wax eloquently about how the Ninja Stars evoke the memory of all medals earned in war by Annapolis graduates who have gone on to war to win medals ... and then!  When a defensive lineman breaks through the line, the Ninja Stars can serve as his last defense! ... no, wait!  We should save that idea for the Aggies so they can enhance the legend of their Fake Army!  ...  No. wait!  That would mean that the aggies would have to come up with a good looking uniform, and we KNOW that they could never do that! ... No, wait!  The milkmen could embed the Ninja Stars in their shoulders as they do their "Let's All Grab Our Scrotum Thingie!" ... No, wait!  The aggie milkmen could be like those Iranian guys who ... No, Wait! ...  ;)

Some folks maybe seriously do not like a lot of this stuff.  Some of us just like to make light of things that are not very important.  Let's face it, sports fans of all persuasions certainly set themselves up for ridicule at times.  All this is, is, is an opportunity to make fun of the human condition, of which we are all a part of at one time or the other ... hopefully.  ;)
