Of all the ones that could flip, I’m okay with him leaving. My eyebrows raised when he transferred to Carthage, then quickly went back. I was told several reasons why, but the one I heard the most was he wasn’t ready to work to earn his position. Not saying it was true, but it wasn’t gonna be handed to him there. I personally think he portals out within 2 years if he signs with Texas

TFB tonight:

1. If Dominic McKinley signs early, then it's Texas.
2. Bama still trying to flip Hampton.
Not surprised on this with Hampton. There seems to be some drama around Hampton and the mom. He left Daingerfield in the summer and was enrolled in Carthage. Went back to Daingerfield before school when things didn’t work out at Carthage.

I was told the exact thing by one of Surratt’s closet friends. He was not used to the work and expectations that it takes to be a Carthage Bulldog.

Like IT said, he's a "grass is greener" kind of guy so a flip wouldn't be surprising based on his history.

My guess is the recent DB recruiting caught his attention too.

Hope he stays, though, and can mature under Sark like other guys have.

The Horn is saying no worries on Wingo, he's slept in and now just waking up....good to be a High schooler!
I've been "Working" from home with my elementary school student this week... I have to fight him to wake up at 7am on school days but on days he's home he's up at 6:30am roaring and ready to go... smh. Can't wait until he gets to Wingo's age and sleep habits. lol

Poor kid. Too many adults on his Twitter feed. Let the kid be a kid. Kids sleep in.

Hell, my son is 24 and he is up here in St. Louis visiting with us and his ass didn't get up until 9:30 this morning. He has a good job so he gets up every morning for work, but without that there he can sleep.

I don't see Sark or Saban putting up with that type of behavior so hopefully that's bad info.

IT reporting ATH Aeryn Hampton will sign with Alabama later today.

Imo, I think Mack and Wilson made Hampton expendable. I still wanted him to be in this class, but the DB haul this year was a plethora of riches for Texas. Two possible day one contributors or two deep guys in Filsaime and Black and three developmental ones in JJR, Mack and Wilson. Hampton would've been a developmental one, imo.
