Long term, it is a pretty questionable choice. short term, it sounds like this may help them retain a lot of the guys who had entered the portal. Sucks because it lessens our chances to really load up on the talent they had who had entered the portal but it's a big risk of a hire for them long term.

Jace Lovielette will return to Texas A&M. Big win for them and they are certainly stabilizing the team with the head coaching hire.

Will have to see if it pays off in the long run for them but they will have the players to be good next year.

It sounds like the decision to run Mark stoops off to overpay Elko. When you let the mob rule make your decision or out of fear of them you will lose. Earley was hired to quieten the crowd and allow the water to calm down. That is all.

Portal:
Aiden Moffett(RHP), Will Mercer (LHP) although he might be returning for his 7th season, Thomas Burns (RHP), Easton Winfield(OF), and Ell Trop.
Returning:
Rylan Galvan (C), Will Gasparino (OF), kimble Schussler(DH), Max Grubbs, Max Belyeu, Ace Whitehead, and others.

Should be interesting how many are returning and how many more transfers they can take.
