Help me follow the logic if you're a UT staff member.

Why turn away your second RT target if your first RT isn't going to commit to you?

Now, you're back to the drawing board completely after months of work.
I think you do your due diligence on a plethora of targets that you will never take.

Why assume that Sexton was the second target or that Cam was the first? I can't answer your question because I do not agree with the premise.

Of course, but you rarely bring in official visitors if they aren't a realistic target.

Hamilton from IT said it's 100% true the staff turned Sexton down because they anticipated grabbing Williams.

You seem to believe they all of sudden decided Sexton wasn't a take at all?

I would find it hard to believe that a 3-star with a weight issue was our #1 target.

My first instinct is it's not good news, but hopefully the staff asked Banks to move up his timeline.
Here is hoping the the staff did that.  Either way, we will have a clearer picture of the Oline recruiting come Sunday.  They will either have 3, 2, 1 or none of their targets.

If I agreed with you on that, that still doesn't explain why you toss Sexton to the side.

Who's the #1 RT target then?
Remember, Cam was a late offer, so him being #1 would be a stretch, at best.

I hate to speculate, but perhaps they saw something in the Sexton recruitment that they didn't like. Has OU been knocking over tables to get to him? Why were we having such an easy time with him?

That's a good question.  Maybe Agbo is #1 (I just threw a name out there).  Who knows.

Shit, I'm waiting for highly rated Tyler Johnson to step up and take one of the OT spots :)

I was mainly curious why you definitively said Williams wasn't the reason we turned Sexton away, which implied there's something else going that hasn't been discussed publicly.

We can agree to disagree on the pecking order at RT, but the one fact is we're in July and there's no clear target at that spot now.

A great RB can nor run without holes to run through. WR can not catch if QB has no time to throw.

QB cannot pass flat on his his back or time to get rid of the ball( See Ewers in champion ship game.

Whatcan prevent all of thisfrom happening?

Banks has been a big Texas lean for months.
Having a bad feeling on this one.  Guess we'll see in two days.  Be interested to see who IT's source is.  I've always thought it may be the dad or his HC that's an ex Longhorn.

Lots of Oregon buzz right now for sure.
