Well, the point is that a kid may take an OV only for the fun of it and have no intention of attending that school.  But that being said I think that you and I pretty well know this recruiting class is going to be monstrous.  This will be the best lineman class in my memory.  Comparable to the DKR days.  Herman has some huge, nasty boys coming and that means we are getting Bama good and the ass kickings are coming as well.

Oh I knew the point and was agreeing with you. That’s pretty commonplace. Free travel and the red carpet treatment at some of the best schools in the country is hard to pass up.

And I have been right each time and I'm right this time.  Not because I have some kind of prognosticating powers, but because I am told what the coaches are saying behind the scenes.  And the coaches have been right the majority of the time - except with Bru.  That was a shocker for everyone.

May be a different genra, but the idea is the same. I was watching a very rare interview with both Charlie Munger and Warren Buffet, who together have run Berksher Hathaway since the beginning....

Charlie was asked how they handled disagreements....Charlie said they didnt disagree. He told Warren..." you will end up agreeing with me because you are smart and I am right"....

And since we don't have a 2022 thread yet, I'll quickly mention that we offered a freshman RB out of Denison, TX, Jadarian Price. DBut82 can probably tell us something about him.

I'm pretty surprised/excited about this.  I only saw him play once because I live in Frisco and don't get up to Denison too much.  He does "freshman" things like, when given the option, will break outside to out run defenders.  Not sure how well he pass protects because Denison's offense is extremely run oriented.  We'll see how he grows and develops.  My best friend who lives in Denison and follows high school ball raves about him.  Good kid; high character...absolutely deserving of this offer.

Interesting that today Roach says Ringo's unsure if his unofficial visit to UT this summer would happen. Suchomel runs report today interviewing "mom" who says Ringo will be at UT on June 21, saying while she may not make it, her son "definitely will."

I don't think George has a commitable offer from Bama anymore.

Interesting that today Roach says Ringo's unsure if his unofficial visit to UT this summer would happen. Suchomel runs report today interviewing "mom" who says Ringo will be at UT on June 21, saying while she may not make it, her son "definitely will."

I don't think George has a commitable offer from Bama anymore.

This is gonna sound "weird" but I just found out from my mother that he's actually my little cousin lol. I don't know him personally ( I mean I am 30 years his senior) but during the conversation with my mom, she also noted that he attends the yearly Falls Creek Easter retreat with her church; well that he went went her church this past year.  Needless to say I'm rooting on the kid for continued success and hopefully he'll commit to the good guys

Because Georgia, along with Oregon, are the 2 dirtiest programs in the country right now ( with aggy, Tennessee, and a couple more right behind ).

Guess Ringo was asleep for the Sugar Bowl.  Herman has kicked Kirby's ass twice ( once as HC, once as a coordinator against him ).

All these guys from the Saban tree know how to play the game.  

I don't think Kirby is that great of a HC.  Seems like he does some boneheaded stuff in big games.  He also lost to the 3 best teams Georgia played last year and if OU had any type of life on defense they would have beaten him 2 years ago.  The thing with Georgia is they play a crappy OOC schedule and the SEC East is garbage.  Maybe Mullen can challenge, but the rest are scrubs.   Tennessee is a dumpster fire ( maybe not for long, Pruitt is playing the game big time ).  

One thing with Ringo is none of the Georgia mods or Wiltfong have crystal balled him to Georgia, so let's see if this plays out some more.

I’d focus on the schools they have in common within their top schools. Those are probably the ones to watch.

While I realize Tennessee is playing the game, they're getting their arse beat at that game. Maybe they'll do better this year, but so far its been difficult for them to get serious talent to look their way.
