Rivals saying Johnny Wilson will visit June 1st and take an OV in the fall.  

Been waiting to see when he would lock in a trip to Austin. That recruitment feels a lot realer if he makes it to campus this summer.

Johnny Wilson will now take his OV's in the summer and make a decision afterwards ( Texas OV will be end of June and still unofficially visiting in 2 weeks ).  A west coast mod put in a crystal ball pick for him today saying Oregon has the "slight" edge over Texas.  Not sure what to think on this since he hasn't even visited Texas yet or if he thinks he's already made his mind up on Oregon.

I think it bodes very well for Texas if we're slightly behind and he's still yet to experience the red carpet at Texas.

Florida has gained a lead in the Jahari Rogers recruitment. He's going to visit Texas June 21-23. Hopefully he doesn't commit to Florida before then.

Florida made a big impression.

A couple of recruits that I know said that most of them get together at camps, bowls, tryouts, and discuss the best schools to take OV's.  By best, they mean the most entertaining, food and towns.  Local talent is a high consideration as well.  Very high.  UT is considered one of the top schools to visit as well as LSU, Georgia and USC.

Well, the point is that a kid may take an OV only for the fun of it and have no intention of attending that school.  But that being said I think that you and I pretty well know this recruiting class is going to be monstrous.  This will be the best lineman class in my memory.  Comparable to the DKR days.  Herman has some huge, nasty boys coming and that means we are getting Bama good and the ass kickings are coming as well.

Crazy thing is the 2021 linemen class may be even better.  We are close to being where we need to be at all positions.  OL may still be a year or 2 away but we're closer than we've been in a long time and saw glimpses last year of bullying people around.  It wont be long when we'll be able to just lineup and maul people up front.  All the 2021 OL guys love Hand.
