IMO, neither Lindberg or Broughton will be as tough to lure as Evans.

I think I sometimes suffer from Longhorn No disease. I've become so used to being on the outside looking in at these big names that I expect disappointment. Evans is a once in a very long time type of talent.

I have to change my thinking with TH. I could see a class with Evans, Lindberg, Broughton, George, along with Jackson and Thompson.

Thats A LOT of 5-stars that Texas is after this cycle. I've never seen us doing this before. We're not just offering them, we're recruiting them. Imagine 3-4-5 five star players in this class. It could happen this year.
And that's just in-state.  Kelee Ringo, Johnny Wilson, and Justin Flowe are all possibilities IMO.  I've said before, but any California kid we get on campus we have a real good chance to land IMO.

USC and UCLA are both way down right now. Even Stanford is having hard times.

My friend recently told me that Oregon was their toughest competition in California.

Jackson and Evans are the two most important players in this class, IMO. Both are out of this world talented.

Some have asked about Hanes King, Longview. He likes LSU a lot but Arkansas has been the team pushing the hardest. Texas has shown moderate interest.
I'm thinking Evans and Broughton as 1 and 2 respectively

Then

Lindberg

Ringo

Thompson

Flowe

Jackson

Dorbah

Ty Jordan

Garth

George

Cooper

If Texas can put on a monster year ..and I do mean a monster year..not only the chances of landing these prospects are high but also other elite talent will be knocking at Hermans door wanting to be apart of This program

I’m biased to the big fellas. Lindberg and Broughton for me then everyone else can get in line.
Besides the fact that we need a few more big boys up front, I'm a Clear Creek grad and probably a little more biased...

This has probably been discussed before but do we know where Lindberg is leaning and when/if he'll be a Longhorn?

Best bets — other than Bama or Clemson — to win national championship next

3. Texas

Too high? Texas hasn’t won a national championship since 2005, hasn’t been to the Playoff yet and just secured its first 10-win season in a decade. We understand that. We still like the trajectory of Texas with Tom Herman, who led the Longhorns to 10 wins and a Sugar Bowl victory against Georgia last season. The Longhorns have landed consecutive top-three recruiting classes heavy on in-state talent. The challenge now is to maintain that consistency, especially early in the season, and make a Big 12 championship run. Texas isn't back yet, but the Longhorns are getting close.

He likes Texas a lot, but Stanford will also factor in his decision. He’s scheduled to go out and visit Palo Alto in early March I believe.

Just don't get the big head.

Texags is saying aggy OL commits Smart Chibuzo and Akinola Ogunbiyi are visiting next weekends Jr. Day.  Said they are little unsettled about Turner leaving.  I don't like Chibuzo, but Akinola looks good.  Only problem is he's a Guard and we already have 2 interior guys in Parr and Majors.

Good chance a few of them get trap doored by aggy. I'm not sure any of them would be takes by Hand..

A lot of people said we'd have recruits wanting to come here and we'd simply not have the room. All we had to do was win.

Here we are folks. Don't it feel good?
