SAM SPIEGELMAN, Texas and Louisiana analyst

You can easily make the case that four-star

Princely Umanmielen
returning to Texas and possibly heading up to Waco is critical toward his eventual decision on Wednesday, or that

Ashaad Clayton
returning to Boulder one last time before deciding between the Buffs and Gators looms large, or that

Donovan Kaufman
's first visit up to Baylor might ultimately be the visit that provides some clarity in his upcoming decision.

However, the biggest visit of the weekend is really wherever Evans ends up. He could wind up visiting USC or maybe even Florida State or there could be a wild card thrown in there as well. The feeling is if he takes a visit this weekend then he could wind up at that school as his recruitment continues to stay wild in the closing days before signing day.

So...
1) Princely feels the new DC/staff at BU will be better for him than the new staff at Texas
2) He didn't want to recommit to Texas after decommitting
or
3) Texas moved on

Is this a question or a multiple choice of possibilities since he didn’t commit to Texas on the visit?

Which assistant is dominating recruiting trail?

Texas had some major attrition on its coaching staff after an underwhelming 8-5 campaign that many thought would have the Longhorns at 10 wins and in contention for a Big 12 championship. With that in mind, Tom Herman reshuffled the deck and made some wholesale changes, none being bigger than replacing defensive coordinator Todd Orlando with former Rutgers head man Chris Ash.

Ash has been a crucial component in the Longhorns' pursuit of two of the state's top uncommitted defensive linemen: four-stars

Alfred Collins
 and

Princely Umanmielen
. Texas is a finalist for both Austin-area defensive ends and it's largely due to the excitement building for the Longhorns' defense under Ash's watch.
