2020 RECRUITS MOST LIKELY TO LIGHT UP COLLEGE FOOTBALL AS TRUE FRESHMAN

BIJAN ROBINSON, TEXAS RUNNING BACK

The state of Arizona isn't known for producing a lot of top-tier talent, but it had a strong 2020 cycle, and we're going back to back with players from that state.

Ringo gets plenty of headlines, but Bijan Robinson could be the top running back in the class—as it's probably between him and Evans.

The 6'0", 200-pound runner from Tucson is heading to Texas and should team with Jordan Whittington for a formidable one-two punch in 2020. The Longhorns certainly need him.

Whittington battled a hernia issue and had several surgeries as a freshman but has elite potential, and Robinson is a dynamic all-around weapon who can run between the tackles, turn it up a gear on the second level or be a passing-game weapon.

His 247Sports comparison is New Orleans Saints and former Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara. That should be an exciting thought for any Longhorns fan, and the program is loaded again for perhaps another turnaround season after a disappointing 2019.

With Sam Ehlinger back at quarterback and new offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich proving as Ohio State's passing game coordinator last year that he knows how to juggle a bunch of star playmakers and get the most out of them, big things could be in store for Texas' offense in 2020.

Expect Robinson to be right in the thick of things.

Per The Football Brainacs, they're hearing Florida has taken the lead for DE Princely Umanmielen of Manor after his official visit to Gainesville this past weekend.

On CB Ennis Rakestraw of Duncanville, he is still scheduled to be in Austin this weekend for an official, but worth noting that he may not exactly be a take for Alabama at this time despite being in Tuscaloosa recently.
I'd just let Princely do what Princely wants. He seems to be seeking reasons not to go to Texas. Stop wasting time and resources then.

Rakestraw is a take, but not a big need.

So what happens now, we have a returning QB who is on everyone's watch list, we have TWO  legit 4/5 star blue chip QB's ( one of whom is on campus already), and now we have the #1 ranked RB in the country, along with a legit power RB returning

and there is only ONE football that can be used at a time...

Do we change/tweak the offense and feature a ground attack which will open things up for Sam

OR

do you ask one of the QB's to redshirt and hope they dont transfer out.

how about a two back set I formation or platoon  the two

Yes, he's a Horn and will announce on NSD II

Source is Kate Beckinsale.
Question, what is Dixon projected as?  Is he a WR, possible a RB, or does he potentially move to defense (not sure if he played there, but I would bet a kid of his talent at Carthage would play everywhere he could).  I guess i always thought of him coming in as a WR type.

The secondary is a crowded place right now, so I suspect he will play some slot and return kicks/punts.

The ideal is Ohio State this year when they had Fields as a Heisman contending QB and Dobins as one of the top RB.

Fortunately, our new OC is from that very staff.

Less than a week until 2nd signing day.

Let’s finish with Collins, Princely, Dixon, Rakeshaw, and Williams the WR from Marshall and call it a cycle.

What do you see?

Saw yesterday anything after 3 more commits we have to lose somebody by fall camp to fit the numbers.  Mitchell leaving makes it 4 now.  TFB had an update late last night on Princely if anyone has a recap.  IDK if Williams is visiting?
