Alright, back on schedule.  This seems late for a highly rated kid.  There must be some interest for them to extend an offer.

Daniel if you were or are a betting man would you put your money on urban getting fired or forced to resign?

If the reports are legit and he had knowledge then he could be fired for cause due to violating a cause in his contract. 

With that said, it’s hard to lean either way. What’s crazy is some think he will survive this.

That program is rolling right now like they haven't since the Hayes days. They threw money at a guy who left Florida in a wreck, recruited Aaron Hernandez, and led a program that allowed certain athletes different rules than the others. Florida is still trying to find their way back from the Urban mess.

Ohio State was not elite under Tressel although they did rub shoulders with it one year. There were a wandering program before that. OSU wasn't elite until Urban made them that way.

I'll throw money at them finding a way to keep him. The only doubt that causes me to think otherwise is the deep seeded social uprising they have going on there now. There might be too much pressure to avoid it.

The latter portion is where I’m at right the optics would be horrific for the school and the program if they don’t get out in front of this.

i think Meyer will get 2-3 games suspension. too much $ involved. tosh will try to sweep some stuff under and give him a "last warning." i don't think he gets fired. i know title 9 is part of it and that may be the only sliver of hope to get Meyer out, but tOsu will get forced to do it.

the reports are from 2015 so by that time CTH was at Houston, but its Meyer that dude has been dirty since before his Utah days.

Yeah, but this happened in 2015.  Didnt Tom leave right after the NC game in January 2015 for UofH?

we are on the same page but Meyer has been dirty forever and Smith had allegations of the same thing in 2009 i think also and i think they worked together in tOsu when Herman was there so if something else comes out then Tom might get a call. I'm sure something happened, there are reports about Smith doing this many other times but it just not being officially filed with the police. (houston radio talked about it today)

Is title IX involved with a non-student complaint from the wife of a coach?  If so great, but I figured it involved students only.

Good question, no idea. Urban’s wife is also an employee for tOsu but that doesn’t implicate Urban. In reality, we all know Urban knew, can anyone prove he didn’t?
