Yea, it may be nothing but there was an interesting comment made by one of the mods on OB.

A poster said something like he would be glad when this was all over on Sat and one of the mods said "Hopefully". Like maybe it wouldn't be.

Same mod also said that he talked to a USC source that told him Bru was having 2nd thoughts about his decision. 

But then there's another poster whose son supposedly knows a USC grad assistant that says the signed LOI is on Helton's desk. 

Are we having fun yet?

If an LOI was sent to USC then Texas wouldn’t be able to talk to Bru if I remember correctly. Might be different with a financial aide agreement though.

Financial aid agreement is not binding and yes, he signed one of those for USC back at the end of November.

So the early decision WAS USC. And perhaps the second thoughts are the fruits of Herman's labor as well as the Sugar Bowl win as well as KK already being interviewed in the NFL.

According to Bru himself, he has not signed either a LOI or financial agreement with either USC or Texas. Said he plans to enroll in a couple of weeks. Said his mind is made up and that he plans on telling both coaching staffs tomorrow.

Members of one of the two teams he's still considering have been in contact with Bru (according to the USC rivals site) and have been telling Bru not to come there. He did not say which team it was, but it would be incredibly surprising to think Texas players would do that, given the high of a Sugar Bowl win. USC has been the team in chaos.

By the way, if you get a chance, take a look at some of the clips where Degabriel Floyd sprints by 5-star Kardel Thomas. Thomas looks very much like a 3-star OL, not a 5-star.

Interesting that Broussard is in there with our commits. I think I read he is Floyd's cousin.

My bad, I should have clarified that the update was coming from another site. 

But I'm pretty sure you already knew. So I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you asking me when did I talk to him wasn't really meant to be as smart-ass as it sounded to me.

You didn't attribute anything you said. We needed to know if we're taking your word for it or if it was something from another site. . . probably the same thing you would have wanted to know from me.

Before the season began, yeah. But not anything recently.

If it were going to be a UT player and someone who would speak with Bru, it would be Cam Rising or even Thompson, both are wanting out. But I don't think either would do that and I think their only problems here are playing time and opportunity. 

The Deuverneys have no complaints and are pretty happy with things right now.

On the other hand, SC has been a place of pressurized disappointment. The alumnus and the fans have been brutal with this Helton thing.
