He hasn’t been viewed as a lock to anyone. Where that kid ends up is anyone’s guess.

That would surprise me. Not because of the choice, but because someone would take his commitment right now. The situation dictates allowing time to pass to see if some things have changed with him. OU rolled the dice if they took him.

I think I saw on 247 that A&M commits are recruiting Shepherd harder than Texas recruits. This is still puzzling I just hope Texas doesn’t take the foot off the gas with this one.

***Shepherd hasn’t visited TAMU for a while and he may not visit for a while. I can’t go into details but as of right now, let’s just say there is a very compelling reason why Shepherd can’t/won’t be on Texas A&M’s campus this summer. And because of that reason, it’s making it very hard for TAMU to recruit Shepherd.

I'm ok with that if the Horns feel very confident with Rian Davis and the Hawaii LB.  I want the Horns to snatch up everyone, but it seems they only have about 12 or less scholarships to accept.  If they strike out with both LBs then it will come back to haunt them.  Also cant forget about Tongue and McCoy for LBs.

They aren’t. He will get recruited until he signs even if he decided to commit tomorrow. And I’m not saying that he is.

I want 2 more LBs besides Tongue. I count Tongue as a bonus, since he will probably start out at WR.
