I don't think its a big deal. DE should have backed away before starting this. Herman isn't the first coach who didn't want a player to leave for the NFL early.

Sooner or later, he'll want to come back to Austin.

Serious question, is he a take for the Horns? He wants to play WR, but you still have Wright out there who I like better.  Also, I know it's a longshot, but Bru McCoy is still in the picture and he's a talent I would certainly take at the athlete position over Tongue.

I think yes. He could play WR for a year then eventually switch to LB. Just let McKnight have him for a year and see where he ends up. Lol
